New Delhi, Nov 29 (IANS)
Two-wheeler major Hero MotoCorp Thursday reported a 7 percent rise in sales in the festive months of October and November, at more than 11 lakh units.
"Our retail sales in October and November crossed 11 lakh units earlier this week," said Anil Dua, senior vice president, marketing and sales, for Hero MotoCorp.
"This represents a 7 percent growth over the same period last year."
According to the company, the stellar growth came on the back of robust demand for strong brands such as Splendor and Passion as well as new models like Maestro and Ignitor.
However, the company forecast a sluggish sales outlook for December.
"December being the last month of the year when retail off-take remains sluggish, we are restricting our despatch sales in November," Dua said.
